Overview:


Semper Valens Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Information System Security Manager (ISSM), Lead to provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.


Key Responsibilities

• Serves as principal advisor on information system security


• Evaluates, monitors, ensures adequacy of cybersecurity posture


• Coordinates, reviews, uploads engineering artifacts into eMASS


• Monitors information security data sources


• Oversees information security awareness training


• Participates in Security Assessment and Authorization


• Develops and implements cybersecurity policies/procedures


• Manages POA&Ms and remediation plans


• Ensures compliance with cybersecurity requirements


• Supports multiple classification levels (Unclassified through SAP)


• In-depth knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity frameworks


• Experience with eMASS and security authorization


• Knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls


• Experience developing security policies/procedures


• Ability to conduct risk assessments


• Experience with multiple security classification levels

Requirements:

• Analyzes and defines security requirements for multilevel security systems


• Designs, develops, engineers, integrates solutions to MLS requirements


• Conducts security audits


• Generates system-level security documentation


• Supports development of System Operation Procedures


• Applies knowledge of IT Governance, risk mitigation strategies, encryption/decryption


• Performs risk analysis including risk assessment processes and procedures


• Recommends information assurance/security solutions


• Performs analysis, design, development of security features for system architectures


• Designs, develops, engineers, implements solutions meeting security requirements


• Provides integration and implementation of computer system security solution


• Performs vulnerability/risk analyses during all SDLC phases


• Comprehensive knowledge across key tasks


• Functions as technical expert


• Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance
