Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85613 (Onsite)
Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
Certification Required: DoD IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent)
Compensation: $48/hr. (Contract-to-Hire)
Conversion Salary: $115,000-$125,000 annually
Schedule: 24/7 Operations Environment - Must be Open to Any Shift
About the Opportunity
Our client, Leidos, is seeking a Network Support Technician to support the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN), a mission-critical enterprise network supporting military operations worldwide.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale, globally distributed network environment supporting network operations, modernization initiatives, troubleshooting, and performance management activities. Candidates will work as part of a Network Operations Center (NOC) team responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and availability of the Army's enterprise infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance
Active DoD IAT Level II Certification (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, etc.)
Bachelor's degree and relevant experience (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree)
Experience supporting Cisco SD-WAN environments
Experience supporting enterprise networking environments
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Networking Knowledge
Experience supporting and troubleshooting:

Responsibilities
Provide Tier II operational support for the Army's global enterprise network
Troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues
Perform approved network configuration and policy changes
Manage and update service tickets through JIRA and ITSM platforms
Escalate issues to engineering teams when necessary
Support global network migration and modernization initiatives
Monitor network health and analyze performance trends
Collaborate with technical teams to improve network reliability and operational efficiency
Provide operational updates to the Global Cyber Center (GCC)
Support 24x7x365 network operations within a NOC environment

This team supports a 24/7 operation.
Candidates must be willing to work any shift.
Current shifts include:
Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Swing Shift: 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Midnight Shift: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Schedule is generally 4x10s, either:
Sunday-Wednesday, or
Wednesday-Saturday
Shifts typically remain consistent for several months before rotating based on operational needs.
