Field Service Technician II

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join a leading wireless communications organization in Greensburg, PA. The Field Service Technician II will install, program, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain two-way radio and wireless communications systems while supporting customer communication infrastructure.

Field Service Technician II Responsibilities:

• Install, program, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain P25 radio systems.
• Support Motorola Astro 25, MotoTRBO, repeaters, base stations, and dispatch consoles.
• Troubleshoot RF communications, BDA/DAS, and related infrastructure.
• Perform testing using specialized RF and electronic equipment.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Provide hands-on customer support and participate in regional travel and on-call rotations.

Field Service Technician II Qualifications:

• 3+ years of two-way radio or wireless communications experience.
• Strong P25 and Motorola systems experience.
• Knowledge of RF theory, propagation, repeaters, antennas, and dispatch systems.
• Experience with BDA/DAS and RF testing equipment preferred.
• Required Motorola/P25 training and certifications, including R56 Installer certification.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally, including overnight trips.
• Security clearance or TWIC eligibility preferred.

Field Service Technician II Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $37.00/hour, depending on experience
