Job Description
PSG is looking to provide UNIX engineering and system administration for a satellite ground system sustainment program. Administer Solaris and Linux environments, automate routine work, and keep systems secure and compliant. 100% on-site, 9/80 schedule. Responsibilities
Perform daily system administration and help desk tasks for Solaris and Linux environments.
Automate administration tasks with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
Manage file systems, storage, and virtualization (ZFS, UFS, Veeam, PDOM/LDOM).
Configure and integrate systems with Active Directory and LDAP.
Maintain cybersecurity compliance through STIGs, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
Develop and maintain documentation, perform COTS assessments, and troubleshoot issues.
Design, integrate, and install system releases, and create or update design documents across the systems engineering lifecycle.
Required Skills
Active DoD Secret clearance (final)
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE; CASP+ or CISSP also accepted)
Solaris and Linux administration
Perl, Python, PowerShell scripting
ZFS, UFS, Veeam, PDOM/LDOM
Active Directory / LDAP integration
