PRISM is seeking an experienced AWS Platform and Infrastructure Automation Engineer to build reliable cloud platforms and integration systems for a mission critical, highly classified modernization initiative. In this role, you will build and maintain infrastructure using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform, develop CI and CD pipelines for restricted environments, automate configuration management and patching, and support platform services such as AWS WorkSpaces, Amazon EKS, and Systems Manager.

In this role, you will build and maintain infrastructure using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform, develop CI and CD pipelines for restricted environments, automate configuration management and patching, and support platform services such as AWS WorkSpaces, Amazon EKS, and Systems Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provision and manage infrastructure using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Design CI/CD workflows and standardized deployment patterns tailored for high security environments.
- Automate routine configuration management, system patching, and platform operational tasks.
- Maintain and optimize platform services including AWS WorkSpaces, Amazon EKS, and Systems Manager.
- 5 plus years of experience in DevOps or cloud platform engineering.
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code expertise, specifically utilizing AWS CDK with Python or TypeScript.
- Demonstrated track record building CI/CD pipelines and managing Git based development workflows.
- Proven ability to deliver hands on AWS cloud engineering within tightly controlled, highly secure settings.
- Active TS SCI security clearance with eligibility for program specific read ons and special access approvals.
- Must reside within local commuting distance of an approved secure facility in Herndon VA, Washington DC, Seattle WA, or Denver CO.
- Ability to work full time on site within secure facilities, with occasional travel to customer sites as required.
- Practical experience configuring and managing AWS WorkSpaces, Amazon EKS, and AWS Systems Manager.
- Direct experience executing automation scripts within isolated or air gapped networks.
- Active AWS Professional or Specialty certifications, or industry credentials such as CompTIA Security plus or CISSP.
