PRISM is seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer to design secure cloud network architectures and integration platforms for a mission critical, highly classified modernization initiative. In this role, you will design AWS VPC architectures, subnets, routing, and private service connectivity, manage Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, and DNS integrations, configure network controls using security groups, NACLs, and AWS Network Firewall, and collaborate with cross functional teams on approved network changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect secure AWS VPC topologies, subnet structures, routing tables, and private service endpoint connections.
• Provision, optimize, and troubleshoot AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, IPsec VPNs, and hybrid DNS configurations.
• Implement network isolation mechanisms and perimeter controls using Security Groups, Network ACLs, and AWS Network Firewall.
• Coordinate with security and platform infrastructure teams to execute approved network connectivity updates and formal change management procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 5 plus years of network engineering experience, including at least 3 years focused on native AWS cloud networking.
• Practical expertise designing VPC routing, private connectivity options, and cloud network security configurations.
• Proven track record supporting complex, isolated, or highly regulated enterprise network environments.
• Demonstrated experience executing cloud network engineering within air gapped, classified, or tightly controlled environments.
• Active TS SCI security clearance with eligibility for program specific read ons and special access approvals.
• Must reside within local commuting distance of an approved secure facility in Herndon VA, Washington DC, Seattle WA, or Denver CO.
• Ability to work full time on site within secure facilities, with occasional travel to authorized customer sites as required.

Desired Qualifications

• Active AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• Direct experience engineering multi region AWS network architectures and managing high security network perimeters.
• Relevant AWS Professional or Specialty certifications, or industry security credentials such as CompTIA Security plus or CISSP.

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Active TS-SCI Clearance.
