Windows Infrastructure Engineer/Architect

We are seeking a skilled Windows Infrastructure Engineer/Architect to join our team in Washington, DC. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows-based infrastructure solutions to support our organization's IT needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Manage and optimize Windows Server environments, including virtualization, clustering, and high availability solutions.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for Windows infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Windows infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Windows infrastructure with other systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Windows infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Windows infrastructure administration and architecture.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Windows Server, such as MCSA or MCSE.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible.

Clearance Requirements:
This position requires a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
