This position is for a Windows Infrastructure Engineer/Architect to support critical IT infrastructure for a major government client. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows-based infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Windows infrastructure solutions
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy environments
• Implement and manage Windows Server roles and features
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
• Ensure security compliance and implement best practices
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support integrated solutions
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with Windows Server infrastructure
• Extensive knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Active Secret clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible)
• Certification in Windows infrastructure (MCSA, MCSE)

Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret clearance required. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred.
