Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Security Clearance in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine inspections, help deter incidents through a visible presence, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. This role offers the opportunity to apply your active DoD Secret Clearance while delivering exceptional customer service, clear communication, and integrity through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorization for entry, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain required armed-post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
