The Mission Assurance System Administrator supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract 3(NISSC 3). The candidate will:
It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours required including nights, weekends, and holidays. Personnel may be required to remain on-site for extended periods during emergencies and drills.
This position is expected to pay $150,000-$160,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
This position will be filled and work onsite at Pentagon, Washington DC

- Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of ITW/AA threat warning and control systems.
- Software development and integration.
- Supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at:
- Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado
- Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado
- Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska
- Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
- Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world
Description of Duties:
The Mission Assurance System Administrator supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract 3(NISSC 3). The candidate will:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, peripheral, and networking problems in stressful situations
- Explain technical concepts to inexperienced users
- Optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware
- Install and configure software and hardware
- Identifies and corrects processing anomalies
- Create Incident Reports on system issues and perform system data collection
- Perform and provide server, workstation, and application expertise to government, civilian and contractor users
- Provide support to other work centers and test community
- Escort and provide support to engineers and maintenance personnel
- Coordinate higher level support with Mission Assurance Centers

Basic Requirements:
- Active TS with SCI eligibility
- Current DoD IAT Level II or higher (Sec+)
- 10 years or more of general work experience
- 8 years or more of directly related experience
- At least 2-4 years Mission Assurance Center experience
- Working knowledge and system administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments; Microsoft Windows operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware; VMWare and system visualization; and Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies
- Knowledge of Active Directory and domains
- Understanding of virtual machine and Remote Desktop
- Windows System Administration experience
Desired Requirements:
- Have experience using command line interface such as Windows, Linux, or Cisco
- AS degree in a computer field
- VCP/VCAP
- Cyber experience
- Basic understanding of network topologies and protocols
- Trouble ticket experience
