Summary:
• Conduct defensive cyber threat hunt operations, statistical data modeling, and data visualization to empower cyber operational teams.
• Serve as a product champion translating operational techniques and procedures into automated platform capabilities.
• Perform advanced research, data analysis, and requirements gathering to support mission-critical workflows.

• Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct cyber threat hunt operations across enterprise Big Data Platforms and present findings via interactive briefings.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to define technical requirements, analyze workflow gaps, and deliver system training.
• Leverage Python, SQL, and advanced statistical modeling to discover threat patterns and build intuitive data visualizations.
• Evaluate, analyze, and perform quality assurance checks on incoming data feeds and platform integrations.
• Deploy threat detection signatures and conduct network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark and Zeek.
• Maintain situational awareness of emerging cyber threats and integrate defensive strategies using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Support SIEM and SOAR tools to optimize incident detection, triage, and threat reporting.
Telework:
This position offers a hybrid arrangement requiring up to four days per week on-site in Washington, DC.
