Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead testing and quality assurance efforts for a cloud-based geospatial data lake environment.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, execute integration, regression, and user acceptance testing across release pipelines.
• Validate REST APIs and spatial data integrity utilizing SQL, GIS tools, and modern automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to triage defects, verify fixes, and track resolution using AWS services, Git, and Jira.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Required Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Associate, ProServe Delivery Certified
• Total Compensation: $382k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Develop and execute test strategies, plans, cases, and traceability matrices mapped to requirements and user stories across data ingestion, transformation, storage, API, and GIS client layers.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and triage defects alongside developers and stakeholders while tracking issues through resolution.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) events, acting as the primary end-user advocate within the engineering team.
• Validate geospatial data quality, including geometry validity, coordinate reference systems, attribute completeness, and spatial query accuracy.
• Test REST APIs and data services for functional correctness, error handling, security controls, and performance.
• Author and maintain data dictionaries, user guides, release notes, test reports, and end-user training materials to support system accreditation and release approvals.
