Summary:
• Execute cyber threat hunting, defensive cyber operations, and data science analysis using Python, SQL, and network analysis tools.
• Analyze diverse data feeds, conduct statistical modeling, and build threat detection signatures across cloud and Big Data platforms.
• Develop actionable dashboards and intuitive visualizations while collaborating with operational teams to translate requirements into automated capabilities.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct threat hunt operations on Big Data Platforms and present findings through live interactive sessions.
• Collaborate with operational users to define requirements, operational gaps, and use cases to enhance platform functionality.
• Conduct operational research, statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and model training to uncover hidden patterns.
• Synthesize diverse data streams into coherent data products and build visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Superset.
• Evaluate and perform quality assurance on data feeds to determine relevance, enrichment opportunities, and usability.
• Build, interpret, and deploy threat detection signatures utilizing frameworks such as SIGMA, Yara, or Snort.
• Perform network traffic analysis and leverage SIEM and SOAR technologies to identify and categorize vulnerabilities and emerging threats.
• Provide comprehensive documentation on data feeds, analytics, and operational deliverables.
