Summary:
• Execute Information Systems Security Engineering across multi-tiered enclave and cloud architectures.
• Implement DoD RMF accreditation processes, DISA STIGs, and NIST SP 800-53 security controls utilizing eMASS and Xacta.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, operational risk analyses, and security scans across Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes environments.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $256k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design and evaluate secure network and system architectures across enclaves with differing data protection and classification requirements.
• Develop, review, and maintain system authorization documentation and accreditation packages in accordance with federal and DoD policies.
• Manage accreditation artifacts, workflows, and POA&Ms utilizing eMASS, Xacta, or equivalent RMF systems of record.
• Apply DISA STIGs, SRGs, and NIST SP 800-53 controls to evaluate operational risk for open source, GOTS, and COTS software.
• Conduct vulnerability management, automated security scanning, and risk mitigation across AWS cloud, RHEL, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Guide engineering and development teams in remediating vulnerabilities and enforcing robust security posture requirements.
• Establish and execute defensible security engineering processes to support trusted relationships among distributed and external systems.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid telework schedule, requiring an average of 1 to 2 days per week on-site.
