Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft airframes and components.
• Fabricate and install structural components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other structural defects.
• Repair or replace damaged structural components, including wings, fuselage, and empennage.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft are airworthy and mission-ready.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field.
• Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Knowledge of aircraft structural maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Strong understanding of NDT methods and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft.
• Experience with composite materials and repair techniques.
• Additional certifications in NDT methods (e.g., ASNT Level II).
