Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aircraft structural maintenance and repair, with a specific focus on advanced composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques. This position requires a Secret clearance and will involve working on critical aircraft maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced structural repairs and modifications on aircraft using composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of aircraft structures to identify damage and determine repair requirements.
• Utilize advanced tooling and equipment for composite material processing, including vacuum bagging, autoclave curing, and resin transfer molding.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement repair procedures for complex structural issues.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repair documentation and material usage.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout all maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance, with specific expertise in composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Current Secret clearance required.
• Experience with advanced composite materials, including carbon fiber, Kevlar, and other high-performance materials.
• Proficiency in using advanced tooling and equipment for composite material processing.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural design and repair procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific aircraft types or programs.
• Certification in advanced composite repair techniques.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and maintenance procedures.
