Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and aerospace components.
• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fabricate, assemble, and install structural components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with other mechanics, engineers, and supervisors to coordinate and execute complex maintenance projects.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, tools employed, and any issues encountered.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and quality standards to ensure the highest level of aircraft readiness and reliability.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in aircraft structures or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or in a similar role, preferably in an aerospace or aviation environment.
• Secret clearance required; ability to obtain clearance if not already possessed.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural systems, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment commonly used in aircraft maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types or models, such as the B-1B, B-2, or other advanced aircraft.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance procedures.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
