Job Description
Plan and execute testing of satellite ground system software and database products to make sure they are ready for government testing and fielding. Work closely with development and integration teams in an Agile environment. 100% on-site, 9/80 schedule.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, analyze, and report discrepancies for operational and integration testing of ground system software and database products.
Run full regression testing for formal releases and test multiple ground product releases, from OS/COTS through application software.
Analyze software and database deficiencies and workarounds.
Verify Oracle database contents related to test products using SQL.
Use in-house tools to process and analyze test data.
Validate and verify deficiency fixes to confirm requirements are fully met, and support prioritization and delivery scheduling.
Track work in Jira and document tested solutions and test reports for operational users.
Required Skills
Active DoD Secret clearance (final)
Security+ certification
Test planning, execution, discrepancy reporting, and regression testing
Oracle database and SQL
Jira and Agile concepts
OS/COTS and application-level release testing

Bachelor's degree and 5–15 years of relevant experience
