Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural maintenance on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Utilize various tools and equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft structures.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other defects.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft are mission-ready.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role.
• Secret security clearance (must be active and maintained).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-1B, B-2, F-22, F-23).
• Knowledge of composite materials and repair techniques.
• Experience with NDT methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant.
