Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret security clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and aerospace components.
• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft structures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other structural defects.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or technical training in aircraft structures preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance or related field.
• Secret security clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles, materials, and fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-1B, U-2, F-22, F-23).
• Knowledge of composite materials and advanced manufacturing processes.
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) systems.
• Previous military or government contractor experience.
