Summary:
• Design, develop, and test complex Java-based enterprise software capabilities and microservices within an agile lifecycle.
• Leverage cutting-edge agentic AI workflows to streamline feature implementation, refactoring, and automated testing.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced environment utilizing modern frameworks, cloud technologies, Linux, and distributed databases.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $226k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities using modern frameworks such as Spring and Guava
• Architect and implement enterprise APIs, RESTful web services, and microservices architectures
• Integrate next-generation coding agents and agentic workflows into daily engineering practices for multi-file implementations and code refactoring
• Guide AI agents through multi-repository architectures while critically auditing agent-generated code for security, performance, and architecture
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and resilience
• Work comfortably within Linux operating environments and utilize configuration management tools including Git and Maven
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Support integration with distributed systems, full-text search engines, and NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and MongoDB
Telework:
A hybrid telework arrangement is supported, requiring an average of 1-2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
