Summary:
• Execute cyber threat hunting, defensive cyber operations, and data science analysis across cloud and Big Data platforms.
• Leverage Python, SQL, and network analysis tools to identify threats and convert findings into automated platform capabilities.
• Conduct statistical modeling, build threat detection signatures, and develop intuitive data visualizations and dashboards.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct threat hunt operations on assigned Big Data Platforms and assist operational teams with hunting missions.
• Apply statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and model building to uncover patterns and synthesize diverse data streams.
• Develop and deploy threat detection signatures, evaluating signatures across formats including SNORT, SIGMA, and Yara.
• Perform network traffic analysis and packet inspection utilizing tools such as Wireshark, Zeek, and TCP-DUMP.
• Design, build, and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and analytic query feeds across cloud environments.
• Evaluate data feeds for quality, relevance, and enrichment to enhance operational cyber platform capabilities.
• Gather technical requirements, define operational gaps, and deliver training and demonstrations to end users.
