Summary:
• Execute cyber threat hunting and defensive cyber operations leveraging advanced data science methodologies.
• Analyze diverse cyber data feeds across Big Data platforms and cloud environments to uncover hidden patterns and threats.
• Apply statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and network analysis to convert threat hunting techniques into automated capabilities.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and operational progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 9+ years
• Total Compensation: $274k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct threat hunting operations on Big Data platforms and present findings through interactive briefings.
• Utilize Python, SQL, and KQL to query complex datasets, conduct statistical analyses, and build predictive models.
• Perform network traffic analysis and vulnerability assessment using tools such as Wireshark and Zeek.
• Develop, evaluate, and deploy threat detection signatures utilizing frameworks such as SIGMA, YARA, and SNORT aligned with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Integrate and analyze data from SIEM, SOAR, and cyber defense repositories to evaluate usability and data enrichment opportunities.
• Design intuitive, customer-facing visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power-BI or Superset.
• Collaborate with operational teams to collect requirements, define operational gaps, and deliver technical training on cyber tools.
