• Develop robust Java-based software capabilities, enterprise RESTful APIs, and scalable microservices.
• Utilize Spring frameworks and Linux environments to support complex system solutions.
• Integrate advanced agentic AI workflows to streamline multi-file implementations, refactoring, and test automation.
• Collaborate effectively across Agile teams to design, build, and deliver high-quality software features.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities utilizing modern Java libraries and frameworks like Spring.
• Architect enterprise APIs, RESTful web services, and microservices following object-oriented programming paradigms.
• Integrate next-generation coding agents and agentic workflows to drive multi-file feature development and automated testing.
• Critically audit AI-generated code for system security, performance efficiency, and architectural compliance.
• Manage source code and build pipelines using tools such as Git, Maven, and Nexus in Linux environments.
• Participate in all phases of the Agile software development lifecycle, utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues, conduct comprehensive software testing, and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
Telework:
This position offers a hybrid work environment with an expected 1 to 2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
