Summary:
• Design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities, APIs, and microservices in Linux and cloud environments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance across the agile software development lifecycle.
• Deploy, maintain, and automate Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed NoSQL data stores.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Architect, develop, and test scalable Java enterprise applications using modern frameworks such as Spring and Guava.
• Design robust RESTful web services and enterprise API architectures following microservices design patterns.
• Build, configure, and maintain Kubernetes deployments utilizing tools like Helm and Flux, and create custom operators or CRDs.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor to engineering team members while collaborating closely in fast-paced agile sprints.
• Implement automated build and deployment workflows using GitLab CI/CD, Git, Nexus, and Maven.
• Work with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, as well as distributed NoSQL databases and search engines like Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
• Utilize modern development tools including JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub Enterprise to support development operations.
Telework:
A hybrid work arrangement is supported, requiring an average of two days per week on-site at the San Antonio office.
