Summary:
• Design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities using Java, Spring, RESTful web services, and Kubernetes on Linux.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams within an Agile development environment.
• Utilize configuration management, enterprise APIs, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based software capabilities and microservices architectures.
• Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes deployments using tools such as Helm and Flux.
• Architect and implement enterprise APIs and RESTful web services in a Linux environment.
• Guide, mentor, and technically lead engineering team members while executing hands-on development tasks.
• Manage source code and dependencies using configuration management tools including Git, Nexus, and Maven.
• Implement automated testing, troubleshooting, and CI/CD pipeline automation within an Agile lifecycle.
Telework:
This position supports a hybrid telework arrangement with an expected average of 1-2 days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
