Summary:
• Perform advanced cyber threat hunting, statistical analysis, and predictive model building across Big Data Platforms.
• Analyze complex network traffic, develop intuitive data visualizations, and evaluate high-volume data feeds.
• Translate cyber operational requirements into automated capabilities, tools, and actionable data products.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical master's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $323k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct cyber threat hunt operations across enterprise Big Data Platforms and present interactive findings to stakeholders.
• Leverage statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine learning models to uncover hidden cyber threat patterns.
• Synthesize diverse data streams into coherent data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power-BI and Superset.
• Develop and deploy threat detection signatures utilizing SNORT, SIGMA, Yara, and YAML.
• Perform deep network traffic analysis using tools including TCP-DUMP, Wireshark, and Zeek.
• Query and manipulate large-scale datasets using SQL, KQL, and Python.
• Integrate and optimize telemetry within SIEM and SOAR environments such as Splunk and cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate with operational teams to define requirements, bridge operational gaps, and deliver system training.
