Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and aerospace components.
• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft structures.
• Read and interpret technical orders, engineering drawings, and work packages to ensure accurate and efficient repairs.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, tools employed, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements and maintenance techniques.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or vocational training in aircraft structures preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance, preferably on military aircraft.
• Secret clearance required; ability to obtain clearance if not already possessed.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in aircraft maintenance.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural materials, including metals, composites, and plastics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific aircraft types or maintenance programs relevant to Beale AFB operations.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance procedures.
• Previous experience working in a government or defense contractor environment.
