Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge aircraft maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft components
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and empennage
• Fabricate and install aircraft components using hand tools and power tools
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify material flaws and defects
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and parts usage
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field
• Secret clearance required
• Experience with aircraft structural maintenance and repair
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of aircraft structural materials and processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft
• Familiarity with FAA and DoD maintenance regulations
• Certification in non-destructive testing (NDT)
• Experience with composite material repair
