  • Maintain organized electronic contract files.
  • Monitor and maintain active organizational registrations in SAM.gov, ensuring timely renewals, compliance documentation and reporting.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to internal and external contract data call requests and reporting requirements.
  • Correspond directly with the internal ASE contracts team to coordinate inputs, facilitate timely reviews, and complete taskers efficiently.
  • Track critical contract performance dates, deliverable schedules, option periods, and expiration dates. Assist Contract Managers and Contract Administrators with administrative tasks, meeting preparation, and detailed note-taking during key contract reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in government contract administration or a closely related government contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling proprietary or sensitive business documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail; strong organizational skills with the ability to handle quick-turnaround data requests.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with moderate supervision, support contracts team, and respond effectively to time-sensitive requests and changing priorities while consistently producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF tools, including formatting, editing, and preparing complex Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, and other professional documents for internal and external submission.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience or familiarity working within a Department of Defense (DoD) or defense industry contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with SAM.gov, Contract Management Systems, and familiarity of the FAR.
  • General exposure to common government contract types (e.g., Firm-Fixed-Price, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Time & Materials).
