Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic with a Secret clearance to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position is critical to ensuring the structural integrity and safety of aircraft and other assets.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and related components.
• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify defects and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop and implement repair procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in aircraft structures preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or in a related field.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and NDT equipment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural components and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, etc.).
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military standards.
• Certification in NDT methods (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle, etc.).
