Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and aerospace components.
• Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair aircraft structures.
• Read and interpret technical orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify material defects and determine the integrity of aircraft structures.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of repair tasks.
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used, tools employed, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in aircraft structures preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance or related field.
• Secret clearance required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific aircraft types or components relevant to Beale AFB operations.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance standards.
• Previous experience working in a military or government contracting environment.
