Job Description
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a DevOps or Principal DevOps Engineer to augment our team. This position is based in Aurora, CO
Basic Qualifications:
United States Citizenship is required to be considered.
Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access.
Must have an active U.S. Government CI Polygraph at time of application, current and within scope.
Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2 + years of relevant experience; 0 years with a Master's
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5 + years of relevant experience; 3 years with a Master's
Experience with integration and testing of software
Experience deploying services in a Kubernetes environment using Helm Charts
Ability to troubleshoot and fix deployments and then update charts to ensure future success
Strong Linux skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between system expertise and tier 1 support
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience deploying one of the following: Kafka, Nifi, or Confluent
Experience working as Tier 3 support for an operational system
