Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft and other aerospace components
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and empennage
• Fabricate and install structural components using hand tools and power tools
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other defects
• Document all work using proper maintenance forms and procedures
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role
• Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of aircraft structural maintenance procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft
• Knowledge of NDT techniques
• Experience with composite materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
