Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aircraft maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and repairs on aircraft components
• Fabricate and install aircraft structural parts
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify material defects
• Repair and replace damaged aircraft skin, spars, ribs, and other structural elements
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role
• Secret clearance required
• Experience with aircraft structural maintenance and repair
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and NDT equipment
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural integrity principles
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Aircraft maintenance experience on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-1B, KC-10, etc.)
• Experience with composite material repair
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance procedures
