Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft components
• Repair and replace aircraft structures, including wings, fuselage, and empennage
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify material flaws and weaknesses
• Fabricate and install structural components using advanced tools and equipment
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in aircraft structures preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field
• Secret clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural systems and materials
• Proficiency with NDT techniques (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant)
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on military aircraft
• Knowledge of FAA and DoD maintenance regulations
• Previous experience with composite materials and repair techniques
