Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace maintenance and repair projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft components and airframes
• Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Fabricate and install structural components using welding, bonding, and fastening techniques
• Troubleshoot and diagnose structural issues to determine appropriate repair methods
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and materials used
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of projects
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role
• Experience working on aircraft structures and components
• Proficiency with welding, bonding, and fastening techniques
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural integrity principles
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-1B, KC-10, U-2, etc.)
• Knowledge of FAA and DoD maintenance regulations
• Experience with composite materials and repair techniques
