Pay Rate: 24/hr
Job Description:
* Assemble micro-mechanical and electronic components inside a cleanroom environment, often under a microscope
* Test and inspect assemblies and sensors
* Solder fine-pitch electronic components
* Work from schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct assemblies, sub-assemblies and components
Basic Qualifications (BQs):
* Ability to follow strict cleanroom protocols (gowning, masking, etc.).
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
* Experience building ultra-precision mechanical assemblies using a microscope
* Experience using electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
* Experience soldering fine-pitch electronic components
* Experience working in an ISO/clean room environment.
* IPC J-STD-001 solder certification.
* Technical degree in electronics or mechanical related curriculum
* Proven experience operating a binocular stereo microscope with a long working distance (allowing room for hands and micro-tools).
* Exceptional hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and steady hands for intricate bench work
* Ability to maintain intense concentration during repetitive, highly detailed tasks
* Prior hands-on background as a watchmaker, jeweler, mini painter, or similar micro-precision trade
