Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Provide comprehensive system administration across geographically distributed Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Maintain, upgrade, and sustain complex server enclaves across air-gapped systems and multi-domain environments.
• Perform operating system and application hardening, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.
• Automate and optimize system performance utilizing Salt, Python, VMware, KVM, and Apache Tomcat.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 10+ years
• Total Compensation: $224k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Administer and sustain Linux and Windows-based servers, workstations, and associated storage infrastructure.
• Conduct operating system and application hardening according to security best practices in high-assurance environments.
• Manage complex server enclaves, including patch management, certificate renewals, vulnerability remediation, and Active Directory configurations.
• Develop automation routines and maintain system configurations using Salt scripting and Python.
• Support server and client virtualization using VMware and KVM technologies.
• Install, maintain, and optimize application and web servers including Apache Tomcat and IIS.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, network, and operational problems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and network architectures.
