Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer enterprise Linux environments, supporting IBM Enterprise Storage, Veritas NetBackup, and vulnerability remediation with Nessus.
• Perform system patching and package management with YUM, enforce system hardening and security compliance, and develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 20+ years
• Total Compensation: $348k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems in a production environment
• Manage and support IBM Enterprise Storage solutions, ensuring high availability and performance
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup for enterprise backup and recovery operations
• Perform system patching and package management using YUM repositories
• Execute and remediate vulnerability scans using Nessus, ensuring compliance with security standards
• Support and maintain security test and evaluation processes and environments
• Implement and maintain system security configurations and policy frameworks
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades, audits, and incident response
• Maintain thorough documentation for system configurations, operational procedures, and compliance requirements
• Develop automation scripts and playbooks using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet
