Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer enterprise Linux environments, supporting high availability and performance across critical infrastructure.
• Manage and support enterprise storage and backup systems, including IBM Enterprise Storage and Veritas NetBackup.
• Perform vulnerability remediation, system patching, and hardening to maintain stringent security compliance standards.
• Develop automation scripts and manage configurations using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $320k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems in an enterprise production environment.
• Manage and support IBM Enterprise Storage solutions, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup for enterprise backup and recovery operations.
• Perform system patching and package management using YUM repositories.
• Execute and remediate vulnerability scans using Nessus, ensuring compliance with established security standards.
• Implement and maintain system security configurations and hardening policies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement proactive improvements.
• Develop automation scripts and playbooks utilizing Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, standard operating procedures, and compliance records.
