Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret security clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft and other aerospace vehicles
• Repair and replace aircraft structural components, including wings, fuselage, and empennage
• Fabricate and install structural components using welding, bonding, and other techniques
• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify cracks, corrosion, and other defects
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure the safety and airworthiness of aircraft

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or related field
• Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of aircraft structures and materials
• Proficiency in welding, bonding, and other fabrication techniques
• Experience with NDT methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant testing
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Maintenance Technology or related field
• Experience working on military aircraft
• Familiarity with FAA and DoD maintenance regulations
• Certification in welding or other relevant trades
