Description:
Hybrid 2 in office 3 days remote in Washington, DC Our client seeks a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer II to administer, integrate, standardize, and automate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes, and a strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud computing, with expertise in AWS and Azure.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies.
