Job Type: Hybrid 2 in office 3 days remote

Description:
Our client seeks a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer II to administer, integrate, standardize, and automate cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, strong scripting skills, and a proven track record of implementing CI/CD solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and deployment processes.
• Monitor cloud resources and optimize costs through resource tagging, rightsizing, and auto-scaling configurations.
• Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments through implementation of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers in best practices and technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience with infrastructure security and compliance standards (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
