Centrifuge, LLC. is seeking to fill the UAM Engineer position in Virginia who will be responsible for managing a team of Analysts supporting an insider Threat program. An insider threat team plays a crucial role in safeguarding an organization's sensitive data and critical systems from threats posed by trusted individuals. Unlike traditional security teams that react to alerts, these teams proactively search for potential insider threats that may have evaded existing security controls.

We are seeking a User Activity Monitor (UAM) Engineer to support the DHS Insider Threat Program (ITP) on the HEITS contract. The role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the UAM platform and supporting infrastructure while enabling advanced monitoring, analytics, and threat detection capabilities to help identify and mitigate insider threats across the DHS enterprise.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and configuration of UAM software solutions to detect and mitigate insider threats, ensuring system functionality, coverage, and user training across enterprise environments.
• Execute all updates, changes, deployments, and sustainment activities for the UAM software solution.
• Ensure proper functionality, resolve coverage gaps, and maintain enterprise-wide deployment integrity.
• Provide guidance on upgrades and system recapitalization, perform availability/capacity management and support all networking requirements and ensure full availability of all network switches and routers.
• Oversee High Speed Guard Cross Domain solution that supports the transfer of data between multiple classification domains.
• Support all documentation to effectively capture the configuration baseline.
• Evaluating, coordinating and performing installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of networks.
• Assist with design, implementation, and integration of network changes. IP address management IPAM, switch setup, and network operations support.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree and (12)+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with (10)+ years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification and validation, and fielding.
• Experience performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, technical management, integration, system testing, and quality assurance.
• Experienced and adept at developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports.
• Experienced with preparing and presenting briefings to senior customer management, and customer stakeholders.
• Experience with EverFox or other similar User Activity Monitoring products and platform.
• Available to support after-hours response to the Late shift Analyst team as needed.
• Available to conduct after hours maintenance windows for the network.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Active Top Secret government clearance; ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in IT Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in IT service delivery management.
• Experience with User Activity Monitoring products and platforms.
• Experience with Everfox or other similar High Speed Guard Platforms.
• Experience in supporting classified networks.
• Experience with VLAN, routing, IP addressing and sub-netting.
• Experience troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using at least one of the following routing methods: BGP, ISIS, OSPF or Static routing.
