Structures Mechanic - Secret Clearance required

We are seeking a Structures Mechanic with Secret Clearance for a critical position in Beale Afb, CA. This role involves maintaining and repairing aircraft structures, ensuring airworthiness, and performing inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and repair aircraft structures, including fuselage, wings, and tail sections
• Perform welding, riveting, and other metalwork as needed
• Conduct routine and detailed inspections to identify damage or wear
• Document all work using proper maintenance forms
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with aircraft structural maintenance
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10)
• Certification as an A&P mechanic
• Previous military or contractor experience in aircraft maintenance

Work Environment:
This position requires frequent exposure to outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is essential.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
