Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural inspections and maintenance on aircraft and other structures.
• Identify and repair structural damage, including cracks, corrosion, and delamination.
• Fabricate and install structural components as required.
• Utilize various tools and equipment to perform repairs and modifications.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structures Mechanic or similar role.
• Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural systems and materials.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, etc.).
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance procedures.
• Certification as an A&P mechanic.
