Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Pipeline Deployment Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services, automation tools, and best practices for deploying applications to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement automated testing and deployment processes.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Bicep.
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance to ensure fast and reliable deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing pipelines to ensure continuous delivery.
- Implement security best practices in CI/CD pipelines, including secrets management and compliance checks.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices for Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive experience with Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure SQL Database.
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools such as ARM templates or Bicep.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, preferably Azure Repos or Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure, such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
- Experience with Azure Policy and Azure Blueprints.
