Engineering Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for supporting our engineering projects and ensuring the successful execution of technical tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for applying technical knowledge to real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers in designing, developing, and testing engineering prototypes and systems.
• Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate the performance of engineering systems and components.
• Collect and analyze data to support engineering analysis and decision-making.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Support the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of engineering equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain accurate records of engineering activities and results.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an engineering or technical support role.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with specific engineering disciplines (e.g., aerospace, automotive, electronics).
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Clearance Requirements:

This position requires a Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain this clearance.
