Baer is looking for SAP Retail and Food Service SME for a 3+ month Federal remote project.

Overview

Join a multi-year DoD SAP S/4HANA modernization program supporting the enterprise transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. We are seeking experienced SAP functional consultants with Active Secret Clearance to help drive data conversion governance, cross-functional business process integration, Federal audit and compliance requirements, and cutover readiness. Ideal candidates have hands-on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA experience, a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, and experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations in Federal or DoD environments.

Description:

• Support data migration, mapping, validation, and reconciliation across SAP systems.
  
• Analyze SAP data structures, material master data, purchasing, and inventory records.
  
• Identify data quality issues, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution.
  
• Validate migrated data against business requirements and source-system records.
  
• Prepare data mapping specifications, validation reports, and technical documentation.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  
• Support retail, food service, provisioning, and inventory-related business processes.
  

Requirements:

• Experience in data migration, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and data quality analysis, including identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolution.
  
• Knowledge of SAP data structures and SAP Materials Management (MM), particularly Purchasing and Inventory Management.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  
• Preferred: Experience with Navy, DoD, or government ERP systems; knowledge of food service, provisioning, ship-store operations, or military supply chains; and experience supporting SAP implementations, data conversions, or ERP modernization projects.
